Find using traceability
In this procedure you can see the traceable material which the serial numbers/batch numbers consist of. You can also see in what the serial number/batch number has been used (in the Included in box).
The purpose of all selections is to choose the serial number or batch number to start from. Based on the serial numbers or batch numbers you start out from, the list displays which serial numbers/batch numbers these consist of in the Consists of box, and where they have been consumed in the Included in box.
The List tab in the procedure is identical to the Traceability Traceability in Monitor ERP is all about being able to trace a specific serial number or a batch in each step it is being processed, as of when a part or a material arrives with you from a supplier. Traceability is also about stating what is withdrawn from and what is added to stock, so it is then possible to trace from customer order, via manufacturing order to purchase order. But it is also about being able to trace the other way around; from purchase order via manufacturing order to customer order. tab in the Serial number
A serial number is a number that is used for traceability for parts on entity level./Batch

If there is a link between the serial number/batch number of the material and the manufactured part's serial number, the search is narrowed down so you will only see hits for the serial numbers/batch numbers which are linked to the specific serial number.
Please note! Reporting items concerning traceable material made after you have opened the procedure, will not be displayed.
