Forecasts

In this box you register one or several rows in order to group your sales forecasts. You can e.g. create forecasts per market, per customer, per product range, etc. For each forecast you can see who created and most recently modified the forecast, as well as when.

By using the Also show inactive forecasts button on the function menu, you can decide if inactive forecasts should also be loaded. This button is not activated by default, meaning that only active forecasts will be loaded.

Forecast code

Here you see/enter a forecast code for each sales forecast. The code must be unique. It will be shown e.g. in the box called Planning window in the Part register procedure.

Interval

In this column you enter the interval in number of work days. What you enter here is then used on the forecast rows when date is suggested for a new row.

Active

Determines if the forecast should be active or not. An inactive forecast will not be included in the requirement calculation.

Customer, customer group, and district

Here you can link a certain customer, customer group, or district to the forecast. It is only possible to link the forecast to one of these. If you link a forecast to a certain customer, only customer orders for that specific customer will be deducted from the forecast. The same function applies if you link a forecast to a customer group or to a district. If you for example have linked a sales forecast to customers in the USA (in the district column), only customer orders for customers in that district will be deducted from the forecast.

Changelog

In the columns Created by and Last modified by you can see the users who have created and most recently modified the forecast, with date and time. Under the Changelog button to the far right, you see a changelog of all changes made including information about user, date, and time.
