Stock analysis
In this procedure you can analyze stock transactions and get an overview to use for future decisions regarding the stock management.
In this procedure there is a list type available where you can analyze stock counts in progress and finished stock counts. There is also a list type where you get an overview of the stock status regarding handling of balance accuracy. There is also a list type you can use to calculate turnover ratio. Turnover ratio is also called inventory turnover rate/stock turnover rate, or just turnover rate.

Stock count analysis
This list type shows the parts which have been stock counted. In the list you see information about active stock count lists and how much of these stock counts has been performed. There is also charts for the list which display:
- How much is planned to stock count per month and per year, and how much has been stock counted.
- The part value out of what is planned to stock count and what has been stock counted.
- What is positive and what is negative stock count difference, shown both as quantity and stock value.
- How much has been stock counted and what is left to stock count, shown both as quantity and percent, per responsible user and per ABC
ABC codes are used to classify the range of parts by the volumes you sell. The codes are used as a scale for the parts that turn over the most money. The turnover is calculated by multiplying the price of the part by the annual volume. Parts that turn over the most money are called "A-parts", and after that, "B-parts", etc. code.
Safety stock/Reorder point
This list type is used to get an overview of the stock status for the current balance accuracy Balance accuracy is a metric that indicates the extent to which the recorded stock balance matches the actual physical quantity in stock.. It could be that the update of stock balances has fallen behind. The list shows each part's ABC code and both negative values (reorder points) and positive values (excess balances).
Turnover ratio
This list type calculates the selected parts' turnover ratio. This is displayed as a quantity.

In a list procedure there is always a tab called Selection where you can select data records in different intervals from the database. The data records are then loaded by using the Load button in the toolbar of the procedure.
Under Selection rows in the backstage of the procedure, you can choose which selection rows that each list type should have, under the Selection tab in the procedure. In the List type field you select for which list type you want to customize the selection rows.
One table shows selection rows possible to select and one one table shows the selected selection rows. You can add, delete, or move selection rows by dragging and dropping the selection rows with your mouse pointer.
Using the Save button you save the selected selection rows.
