Here you find settings regarding how the order suggestions in the list should be shown. See also the settings for generation of orders.
Order suggestion
This applies to the Detailed list type. Here you determine if purchase order suggestions, rescheduling suggestions, and suggestions to delete unnecessary orders should be displayed in the list. The available alternatives are:
- Suggestion – Purchase order (default) – This alternative includes purchase order suggestions.
- Rescheduling – In (default) – This alternative includes suggested rescheduling of orders where the order is later than the part's lead time. That is, it includes orders where we can expect the supplier to deliver on time.
- Rescheduling – In, within lead time (default) – This alternative includes suggested rescheduling of orders where the requirement is within the part's lead time. That is, it includes orders where we cannot expect the supplier to deliver on time.
- Rescheduling – Out – This alternative will include rescheduling suggestions that will postpone the date of the orders.
- Unnecessary orders – This alternative will include suggestions of excessive/unnecessary orders to delete (orders without requirement).
- Quantity shortage linked order – This alternative finds orders which have a linked refill where the quantity is insufficient. This makes it possible to update the linked purchase order.
- Surplus quantity in linked orders – Finds surplus quantities for linked orders and makes it possible to update the linked purchase order.
- Suggestion – Stock order – This alternative will include purchase order suggestions for stock orders (this alternative is available if you have installed the option Warehouse).
Existing suggestions/orders
This applies to the Detailed list type. This setting is useful when you choose to show rescheduling suggestions. By selecting which order types to take into consideration, your results may vary regarding what is the causing requirement. This setting is not available if you in the Order suggestion
Order suggestions are suggestions made for manufacturing or purchase orders generated by the system in order to cover stock shortages of manufactured parts as well as purchased parts. setting select only Suggestion – Purchase order.
Include parts without reservations
This applies to the Detailed list type. With this setting you can decide whether or not to show parts without reservations in the list.
Include orders marked as Confirmed delay
This applies to the Detailed list type. With this setting you can include orders marked as Confirmed delay.
Consumption statistics
This setting determines whether or not the parts’ consumption statistics for the last 3, 6, and 12 months will be displayed in the list.
Unit
This setting determines the unit selected for the parts in the list according to the following:
- Purchase – With this alternative the unit for Purchase order of the parts will be used. This is configured under the button Usage in the Part register procedure.
- Default – With this alternative the default unit for the parts in the Part register will be used.
