The Function menu

There is a function menu to the left of all lists, selection rows, and different tables in the procedures. This menu contains buttons with different functions. If you place the cursor over a button, the function of the button is shown in a tooltip. In the image below you see an example of how the function menu might look at in a list.

Many of the buttons on the function menu are also available on the context menu when right-clicking for users who prefer to use that menu instead. Read about it in the topic The Context menu.

In the table below the most frequently occurring buttons on the function menu are described. There you also find the shortcut for the button, if any.

Limits the number of rows in lists, which improved performance.

 

Preview
Show e-mail message
Preview document, report, or list.
Show the e-mail message.

Show document Open the document in a separate preview window. F3
Send by e-mail Attach document, report, or list as a PDF file.
Attach document, report, or list as an Excel file.

Find Find a value in all columns in a list. Ctrl + B
Find & replace Find and replace values in a selected column in a table or a list. Ctrl + H
Filter Filter a list. Ctrl + Shift + F
Copy records to Clipboard Copy all records in a list to Clipboard. Clicking this button you then select which Clipboard register to copy the records to. The records in a Clipboard register can be loaded as Clipboard on selection rows of the same type (e.g. parts) in other list procedures.
Copy selected value

Using this button you can copy the marked value to the Clipboard in Windows. This way you can use Ctrl + V to paste the value where you want it, e.g., in Notepad.

 
Chart Configure and display a list in chart form.
Expand all Expand or minimize all rows. Shift + F8
Go to procedure Load the record in question in the selected procedure. Depending on which procedure you are there are under this button links to different related procedures for the record in the procedure in question. The current record in the procedure is automatically loaded in the procedure you choose to go to. The purpose is to speed up and rationalize the daily work.
Add row
Split row
Adds a row on the same selection term in list procedures.
Split (copy) a row e.g. an order row to a new order row.

Add new row at the end Add a new row at the end. F5
Insert new row Insert a new row above the selected row. Shift + F5
Add underlying level Add an underlying row to the selected row. Ctrl + Shift + F5
Delete selected row Delete the selected row. F6
Insert phrase Insert a phrase (selected in the phrase register) in comments and additional texts.

Insert signature Insert today's date and the name of the logged in user in comments and additional texts.
Import Import for example sales forecasts, e-mails from inbox.
Export Export for example different lists. The different options to which you can export lists are: Excel, Excel (raw data), PDF, Word, or Clipboard in Windows.

Print/Send Print and/or send document.
