Scheduling

In this section you can schedule data extractions for several companies at different occasions. It's also possible to trigger manual extractions and delete previously extracted data per company.

Manual extraction

Under the Manual extraction tab you can trigger manual data extractions per company as well as delete previously extracted data. You can also activate Safe extraction mode. If a data source should fail while this mode is activated, all other valid data will still be extracted.

In the Period field you select a period for the extraction. You can select Year, Month, or Day.

In the Historical field, you enter the amount of years, months, or days into the past for which data should be loaded.

In the Future field, you enter the amount of years, months, or days into the future for which data should be loaded.

Extraction schedules

Under the Extraction schedules tab you can schedule reoccurring extractions for one or several companies at the same time.

Scheduling list

Here you can see a list of your scheduled extractions. In the list you see the companies you have selected and whether or not the option Active has been activated. The column Cron Specification shows whether or not the option Advanced has been activated.

Enabled

Controls whether the scheduled extraction is enabled or disabled.

Advanced

If the Advanced option is enabled, it is possible to schedule extractions based on Cron expression.

Weekdays

Here you can select on which weekdays the scheduled extraction should be triggered/run.

Times

Select one or several timestamps for when the scheduled extraction should be triggered.

Select company

Select companies to be included in a scheduled extraction.

Extraction logs

Under the Extraction log tab you can see the database number for executed extractions. In this column you can also view information about each separate data source by clicking the arrow to the left of the database number.

There are also columns here that show start time and total run time for executed extractions, status for executed extractions, which version of Monitor BI is being used, currency, extraction period, the number of successful data sources, and error messages for failed extractions (if any).

You can select which logs you want to see by first selecting a date interval using the fields From date and To date and then clicking the Update logs button. If you don't select a date interval, the latest 10 extraction logs will be shown.
