FAQ – Vouchers
This is a step-by-step description on how to create a rectification voucher. This function is used when an incorrectly recorded voucher should be corrected.
- Load the voucher you want to rectify.
- Click Save as on the toolbar of the procedure.
- Select Rectification/Reversing as type.
- Select in which accounting year and in which series the rectification should be recorded.
- Make sure the Posting checkbox is activated under the Copy/Reverse heading, if you wish for all posting items to be loaded, but recorded on the opposite side.
- Click OK in the window.
- In this mode you see a copy of the voucher but with reversed posting. If you save in this mode without making any changes, the result is that you completely remove the initial voucher.
If you need to adjust separate rows in the initial voucher, then you must delete all rows which were correct and adjust the rows which were incorrect. Please note! The rectifying voucher should only contain the changes you wish to make in relation to the initial voucher.
This is a step-by-step description for reversing a voucher via accrual accounting. This function is used if you have a voucher (for example in the AFS) which should be reversed in another accounting period.
- Load the voucher you want to reverse in a different period.
- Click Save as on the toolbar of the procedure.
- Select the option Reverse via accrual accounting as type.
- Select on which date the reversal should take place (by default this is the first day of the subsequent period, but this can be changed).
- Click OK in the window.
- Finish by clicking Save on the toolbar.
In the background an accrual has now been created which will reverse the voucher via the procedure Release accruals. It will be reversed in the period you selected.
You can change the postings in a voucher if the voucher belongs to an open period.
Please note! You cannot change the voucher date on an existing voucher. In that case you need to create a reversal voucher and then create a new voucher with the correct date.
You can make changes by deleting rows, adding posting rows and changing existing posting rows.
Rows that you add will be underlined. Rows that you delete or change will be crossed out.
The Show deleted rows button can also be used in order to show deleted rows.

Accounting data can be exported/imported in the Export/Import procedure.
First you should make sure that you are working in the correct accounting year. Then you select which operation to perform: Export or Import. You then configure different settings for the export or import. You execute an export or import by using the buttons Export or Import on the toolbar in the procedure. These buttons become activated when a correct file path/file name has been entered.
