User settings
In the user settings on the title bar you can enter settings for your e-mail and update your password in Monitor ERP. This data is saved in the user register in the company database.
Password
In this section you can update your password. If you want to update the password, click Change password and then enter your Current password, New password and Confirm password. If you do not currently have a password, leave this field empty.
In this section you can change your e-mail settings. These are the same settings you have for e-mail in the Users procedure.
Multi-factor authentication
In this section, at Authentication device, you can use the Register device button to register your device (e.g., mobile phone) for multi-factor authentication. Follow these instructions:
- In the dialog under the button, you scan the QR code that appears. You do this in an authentication app on your device, such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.
- If you are unable to scan the QR code you can manually enter the 32-character text code shown under the QR code.
- In a field in the dialog you then enter the six-digit code which is returned by the app.
- Click OK in the dialog to register the device.
Device registration date shows the date when your device was registered.
Grace period end date shows the end date of the period you have to register your device for multi-factor authentication.
Please note! If you do not register your device by the final date, one of the following scenarios will take place.
- You’ll have restricted access to the Monitor ERP client and can only register your device when logging in to Monitor ERP. If you cancel the registration when logging in, you’ll only have access to User settings to register your device.
- Your will be blocked for logging in to the Monitor ERP client. If you have been blocked, an error message will be shown if you try to log in. In this case you must contact a system administrator who will remove the block, so you can log in again and register your device.
Monitor News – Areas of interest
In order for you to receive as relevant information as possible in the Monitor News feed, you can select your areas of interest here. You choose areas of interest with the Roles/Areas and Countries settings. You will then get a new feed with content aimed at the country and role/roles you selected.
Linked files
Mark the checkbox called Pre-select "Automatic printout" when linking files if you want linked files to be printed automatically when you print.
