The Check delivery times list

If check delivery times (CDTClosed CDT is short for check delivery times and it is a function on order rows which calculates when the order row in question can be delivered, taking lead times and throughput times into consideration. CDT also checks if existing orders and suggestions can cover material shortages, if any, and affects when the order row can be delivered.) has been activated with the system setting Apply check delivery times, you also find this list type.

This list will perform a check of delivery times (CDT) for the customer orders you selected (stock order are not included). In this list you can see if there are any delayed orders.

The check is made when the list is loaded. You can see the consequences of postponed manufacturing orders or purchase orders, both for order oriented manufacturing and stock driven manufacturing. That is, you can see Earliest finish date for customer order rows which will not be possible to deliver on time due to delays in the production or regarding purchases.

For existing manufacturing orders, the CDT takes the manufacturing order's planned Finish date (default) or New finish, into consideration. This is determined with the system setting Existing manufacturing order. If "New finish" is selected and the net requirement calculation is set to calculate New finish, this date will be used instead of the planned date on the manufacturing order. This will in its turn let you know when the customer order can be delivered.

This means that the Check delivery times list answers the question:"Can we deliver the customer order on time?".

You should preferably do a search of the entire order backlog to make the available capacity regarding hours and material to be deducted in the correct order. This will provide you with the most accurate result of the analysis.

The Earliest finish date in the list shows the date calculated by the CDT as the earliest possible finish date for the affected manufacturing order. The Difference column shows the difference in number of days, between that date and the customer order's planned Delivery date. The customer order cannot be delivered before the earliest finish date of the manufacturing order. If the customer order becomes delayed, the values in the two first mentioned columns will be displayed in red. If the customer order can be delivered on time, these values are displayed in green.

In the section Filter to the left of the list, you can choose to filter by the customer orders that will be late, the customer orders that will be delivered on time, or in total with all customer orders included in the selection. You also see how many that exists of each customer order.

In the section under the list there are tabs with detailed information about the selected customer order in the list. Here you see information about affected purchase order suggestions and manufacturing order suggestions. You can view the CDT's planning window. You can also see the order information and the loading.

You can also get the corresponding information by using the button CDT, per order row in the Register customer order procedure and per quote row in the Register quote procedure.
