Overtime types

Overtime types are used to categorize overtime based on how the employee is remunerated/compensated for the overtime and how it is calculated. From the start, the overtime types Paid, Compensatory leave, and Makeup.

Active

With this checkbox you determine if the overtime type in question should be active. This means that the overtime type becomes available to select in different parts of the system.

Row number

This is a consecutive number for the row. You can re-sort the list of overtime types in this column by using the drag and drop function with the cursor. This way you can choose in which order they should be displayed in the Recording terminal.

Code

Here you see/enter a code containing a maximum of 4 characters. It is used in places where there is not enough room for the actual name.

Name

Here you see/enter the name of the overtime type. By using the button Translations you can translate the text to the different active languages registered in the system. Read more about language management for translatable texts.

Compensation

In this column you select which type of compensation applies for the overtime type. When you install the system the following are available from the start: Paid, Paid + Flex, and the time banks which exist on their own and in combination with Flex.

Calculate all overtime

In this column you can decide that all overtime calculation for a new record should always be "All overtime" for this overtime type. If you activate this setting, it means that all recorded time outside the schedule always will be considered overtime.

If the setting is not activated, it means the setting Calculate overtime on the parameter group determines if it should be All overtime or After fulfilled daily working hours. In the latter case, it will only be considered overtime after the person has fulfilled his/her scheduled working hours.

Inactive since

In this column you see the date when the overtime type was inactivated.

Deactivated by

In this column you can see the name of the user who deactivated the overtime type.
