Grouping

Part code

The part code is used as a selection term and grouping term in lists. The name for the part code is shown to the right of the field. Part codes are handled in the procedure Basic data With "basic data" we refer to the static records in a database, for example parts, customers, users, work centers, etc. – Part.

Part category

Here you can enter a part category. By clicking the button Category selection it is possible to select categories, if categories have been registered in the Categories procedure. If no categories are registered, you can type as you please in this field. Categories can be used as a selection term in different lists. Product group

Here you see/select a product group which determines the part's posting and VAT. Product groups are handled in the Posting matrix procedure.
