Master planning

Master planning means establishing a "Master plan" for your production. This includes a loading plan where any overload might require the entire order to be replanned with regard to quantity and dates, as well as changing operations and material for an order. This can be done in a few different procedures, based on e.g. the current loading situation. The planning horizon can be anything from a few days to several weeks ahead.

• Loading plan – This procedure shows the current loading for one or several work centers. Replan an order by linking to Register manufacturing order via the Go to procedure button or by right-clicking when the order is selected under the List tab.
  
  
• Register manufacturing order – You can change the quantity or period on existing orders. You can cancel manufacturing orders here. You can also make various changes to operations or material.
  
• Order list – Manufacturing – In this procedure, under the Lead time chart tab, you can replan orders by dragging and dropping the bars in the Gantt chart.
