Sales overhead mark-up

These settings are available for the list type New calculation.

Under this heading you can enter the sales overhead mark-up (sales OH) in percent that will apply in the calculation. The default general mark-up for sales OHClosed Sales OH is a percentage mark-up of the manufacturing cost that describes the overhead expenses in addition to the manufacturing itself. These are administrative costs and selling expenses. Manufacturing cost + Sales OH = Cost price (the limit where the company starts making money). in percent, and different exceptions from this, if any, must first be registered in the Calculation mark-up procedure.

By using the setting Calculate sales OH mark-up for you can determine if Material, Subcontract, and/or Manufacturing shall be excluded in the sales overhead mark-up. This means that these costs will not be included in the manufacturing cost before you calculate the sales overhead mark-up.

General sales overhead mark-up

Here you enter the general sales overhead mark-up in percent. For manufactured parts it is also possible to enter an exception. It is always the part's sales overhead mark-up that is used, but you can here change the percentage of the mark-up.
