Schedule cycles
In this procedure you can create schedule cycles. A schedule cycle is a combination of schedules. The schedule cycle is based on which day of the week it is, not the date.
In the upper table you add schedules to the schedule cycle. You create a schedule cycle per week or for several weeks, and that is why the number of days must be divisible by 7. To create a simple schedule cycle, you can on the first row enter 5 days on a work schedule for the work days (Monday to Friday). On the second row you then enter 2 days on an overtime schedule for the weekend (Saturday–Sunday).
A schedule used in a schedule cycle is given its holidays (such as Christmas and Easter) according to a calendar you select and must be registered in the Calendars procedure. For a schedule you can also select a specific overtime schedule used for holidays.
In the lower table it is possible for you to add general schedule exceptions for each schedule in the schedule cycle (for example for the dates concerning a specific national holiday). These exceptions will then apply to all persons who use the schedule cycle. In the Schedule exceptions procedure you can instead enter schedule exceptions per person.
At the very bottom of the window you can see information about who created and most recently modified the information for the current record and at what time. Using the button
you will access a log containing all modifications.
