Loading plan

In this procedure you can see how different work centers’ loading is affected by manufacturing orders over time. The loading is shown on a time axis, either per month, week, or day. Week is selected by default, since it is the most commonly used option.

You can see the state of the loading for one or several work centers at a time, depending on the settings made under the Selection tab. You can also select per manufacturing order and main part.

When you register a manufacturing order, loading is created for the work centers that are used in the BOM and routing. The loading is made according to what is registered in the routing regarding work center, unit and setup times, and overload, if any. The loading is also affected by the basic time, calendar, and other settings configured in the Work centerClosed A work center is a part of the factory. It can be a single machine or a group of machines, a single workstation or a group of workstations. register procedure.

The loading is also based on a calendar. This calendar is quite general, but you can register exceptions for the work centers.

The information in the procedure is based on manufacturing operations that have a remaining qty, their remaining time, and also their scheduling. The capacity shown in the procedure reflects the capacity you have defined for the work center and in its calendar.

It is not possible to update the loading chart, but under the List tab you can replan the start time and finish time of the operations, if you have chosen to make the list updateable on the toolbar. In this procedure it is also possible to replan and modify, e.g., the capacity by using the function button called Go to procedure and thereby access procedures where such activities can be performed.
