User-specific user rights

You can, when needed, configure user-specific user rights to perform different activities for different types of records. User-specific user rights are used if a separate user should have a specific set of user rights.

Depending on the type of record, there are different activities that are linked to the business events that can be made for the record. For example show, create, modify, undo, print, add, replace, delete. For these activities you can check the box Allow or Deny for the user.

You can allow or deny per activity for a certain type of record. That way, you can determine the user's user rights to the activities for different types of records.

You can also allow or deny one level up (per type of record). Then it will apply to all different activities for the record in question. You can also allow or deny at the highest level. Then it will apply to all different activities for all types of records in that specific section. Even if you allow or deny all activities per record or entire section, you can override this per activity. The checkbox for higher levels will then be filled instead of displaying a check mark.

Please note! Deny is ranked higher than Allow. If for example a user has a role that allows a specific activity but at the same time you select Deny as user-specific user-right for the same activity, the user will not be allowed to perform the activity. This will also be displayed in the box Resulting user rights.

The records are grouped into one section per module in Monitor ERP. There is also one section for general functions, one section for web, one section for field permissions, one section for part synchronization, as well as one section for customer order transfer. In these sections there are different activities and functions for which you can determine the user's user rights. This is made by selecting Allow or Deny.

For example in the section Field permissions it is possible to allow or deny showing and/or modifying standard prices. Then this applies to all procedures in the system. If standard prices should be hidden from the user, the procedures Pre-calculation and Post-calculation must also be hidden from the user. Another method is to configure such user rights on field level. This is made per procedure. This is made by using Property management.
